Informa (LSE:INF) has appointed David Lynn as CEO of inD, its Dubai-based partnership with Dubai World Trade Centre, with the role effective 4 May. Lynn will be the venture’s first chief executive and will relocate to Dubai to lead the integration of DWTC and Informa’s B2B event businesses.

Lynn joins from ViacomCBS Networks International, where he served as President and Chief Executive of a billion-dollar division operating in 180 markets with about 5,000 colleagues. His tenure included major digital transformations — launching Paramount+ and PlutoTV across 20 countries — and overseeing the integration of Network 10, Telefe and Channel Five.

As inaugural CEO, Lynn’s initial brief is to create a single operating business and deliver a growth plan for 2027–29, with a stated ambition to consolidate inD’s position in the UAE and expand across IMEA through new launches, brand extension and syndication. inD is described as Informa’s largest partnership business, combining DWTC’s market access with Informa’s international brands, Informa said.

"We are delighted to confirm David's appointment as inD's inaugural CEO. The appointment of an experienced international media and content executive underlines inD's ambition and the significant growth opportunity for high quality B2B brands in the IMEA region and beyond." — Stephen A. Carter, Group Chief Executive, Informa
