Hercules (AIM:HERC) said its specialist power and energy subsidiary, Advantage NRG, has secured two further contracts across the National Grid electricity transmission network worth a combined £3.4 million.
Advantage NRG supplies skilled overhead linesmen and specialist teams for the construction, maintenance and upgrade of the UK's electricity transmission infrastructure, and was acquired by the AIM-listed infrastructure and construction services group in June 2025.
The larger contract, worth about £2.6 million, has started in the East of England and is expected to run until the end of June 2027, with deployment set to rise to around 18 operatives at peak.
The second, valued at about £0.8 million, covers work in North Wales between July and October this year and is expected to need around 13 operatives.
The awards lift Advantage NRG's cumulative contracted work secured in the 2026 financial year to about £20.8 million.
"These further contract awards continue to demonstrate the strategic value of our acquisition of Advantage NRG and the strength of demand across the UK's electricity transmission market", said Brusk Korkmaz, chief executive of Hercules.
He added that the business "has integrated exceptionally well into the Group and is continuing to build a high-quality order book".
