Johnson Matthey (LSE:JMAT), the specialty chemicals and sustainable technologies group, appointed Joachim Rosenberg as an independent Non-Executive Director.

Rosenberg spent twenty years at Volvo Group in executive roles across Europe and Asia, including as President of Volvo Energy from 2021, where he additionally oversaw group-wide strategy, M&A and governance. He previously spent almost a decade at McKinsey & Company and has lived for fifteen years in China and Japan and a further two years in the United States.

Rosenberg's current non-executive roles include Concentric AB, a flow control and thermal management supplier that delisted from Nasdaq Stockholm in 2024.

"Joachim brings tremendous and relevant experience to Johnson Matthey", said Andrew Cosslett, Chair of Johnson Matthey.
