PureTech Health (LSE:PRTC) told investors that results from the completed Phase 1b trial of LYT-200 will be presented at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) Congress 2026, running 23-27 October in Madrid.

The London-listed, clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company develops LYT-200 through Gallop Oncology, one of its externally financed "Founded Entities". LYT-200 is a first-in-class monoclonal antibody targeting galectin-9, described as an oncogenic driver and immunosuppressor, aimed at relapsed/refractory high-risk myelodysplastic syndromes (R/R HR-MDS) and acute myeloid leukaemia.

Gallop Oncology completed an End-of-Phase 1 meeting with the US Food and Drug Administration last month and received Fast Track designation for LYT-200 in combination with a hypomethylating agent in R/R HR-MDS, clearing the path to a Phase 2 trial known as STRIDE-MDS.

"The encouraging clinical activity observed, together with the favorable safety profile, reinforces our confidence in the potential of LYT-200 to offer a differentiated treatment approach for a broad population of patients, regardless of mutation status," said Aleksandra Filipovic, head of oncology at PureTech and chief medical officer of Gallop Oncology.

Guenther Koehne of the Baptist Health Herbert Wertheim Cancer Institute will present the topline Phase 1b data in an oral session on 24 October.

STRIDE-MDS, a randomised, double-blind Phase 2 trial, is set to enrol roughly 125 patients split 2:2:1 between two LYT-200 dose arms plus a hypomethylating agent and a placebo arm.
