Cardiogeni (LSE:CGNI) has completed the full repayment of the convertible loan notes described in the company's Admission Document following completion of the share exchange agreement announced on 21 April.

The repayment totalled £810,000 and represents a full and final payment to the convertible loan note holders.

Cardiogeni is a UK clinical-stage biotechnology company founded by 2007 Nobel Laureate Sir Martin Evans to develop and commercialise novel heart regeneration medicines.

The group's lead product, CLXR-001, is an engineered cellular medicine given during coronary artery bypass grafting surgery that completed an EU Phase 2 investigator-sponsored trial and is now dosing patients in a randomized controlled trial with interim data expected to read out within 30 months of Admission.
