Smarter Web treasury rises to 2,706 coins as Bitcoin strategy continues

The Smarter Web Company (LSE:SWC) has added 11 Bitcoin at an average price of £53,901 ($72,702) each, spending £592,915 as part of its ongoing treasury policy launched under "The 10 Year Plan". That brings the group's total Bitcoin holdings to 2,706 BTC, at a blended average cost of £82,437 ($111,191) and a cumulative purchase cost of £223,074,462.

The company noted it has accepted payment in Bitcoin since 2022 and is using crypto exposure as a reserve and growth vehicle alongside its web services business.

It also flagged the group's exposure to crypto risk and performance measurement: the company reports a quarter-to-date BTC Yield of 11.38%, measured from 31 March to the present.
