Acuity RM Group (AIM:ACRM) has entered into a new software agreement with a prime defence contractor to deploy its STREAM Classic platform, supporting the contractor's role in a significant international defence programme.

The AIM-listed group provides risk management software used across government, defence, broadcasting, utilities, manufacturing and healthcare sectors.

The deal covers two on-premises instances of STREAM Classic, generating annual recurring revenue in excess of £100,000.

A separate services agreement covering implementation and configuration work is expected shortly.

The on-premises delivery model reflects the security requirements typical of defence-sector deployments.

Chief executive David Rajakovich said defence is already the Group's largest industry sector, and the new contract sees STREAM Classic deployed within "a significant international defence-related programme" that is "the subject of national media coverage."

The Group is in active discussions with other prime contractors involved in the same programme, with the board hopeful of securing further software and services agreements.

News Intelligence what this means for the company

Acuity RM has signed a prime defence contractor to deploy STREAM Classic, generating over £100,000 in annual recurring revenue, with a services agreement expected shortly. The deal is material: defence is already the group's largest sector, and the CEO flagged active discussions with other prime contractors on the same 'significant international defence-related programme,' signalling a potential pipeline of follow-on wins in what appears to be a strategically important vertical.

Investment case

This contract validates STREAM Classic's fit for high-security, on-premises defence deployments at a time when Acuity reported net cash of £322k at end-2025 and is raising ~£370k net to fund sales and product development. A single £100k+ ARR win in the largest sector, coupled with pipeline visibility to peer contractors, strengthens the case for revenue acceleration in a capital-light, recurring-revenue model—though the absolute contract size remains modest against the company's cash position and prior Q1 2026 contract wins of £0.6m.
