Diales Group (AIM:DIAL) told investors on Monday that it expects underlying operating profit from continuing operations for the year ended 30 September to come in at not less than £1.8 million, up from £1.5 million in the prior year and ahead of market guidance.
The AIM-listed consultancy, which provides expert witness, claims and dispute resolution services to the construction and engineering industries, said the result represents growth of at least 20%.
Revenue from continuing operations for the full year is expected at £44.0 million, up from £41.2 million in FY2025, a figure restated for discontinued operations. The group reported cash balances of £3.3 million at 30 September, down from £3.9 million at 31 March, a move it attributed to the timing of client receipts; approximately £1.0 million was collected shortly after the year-end.
"The group has delivered another year of profitable growth, with underlying operating profit expected to increase by at least 20%, and ahead of market expectations," said Mark Wheeler, chief executive officer, adding that demand for the group's specialist dispute resolution and expert services has remained resilient despite challenging conditions in parts of the Middle East and Europe.
Diales reported H1 FY26 results in June showing continuing operations revenue of £23.7 million, up 10% year-on-year, with net cash of £3.9 million and the board at that point expressing confidence in delivering full-year results at least in line with market expectations.
