Verici Dx (LSE:VRCI), the AIM-listed diagnostics developer focused on organ transplant care, said it will launch TranscripTx in the fourth quarter of 2026.

The test identifies genetic variants known to influence how transplant recipients respond to therapy and their long-term risk of graft failure.

TranscripTx uses next-generation sequencing to analyse genetic variants in peripheral blood RNA and will be offered as a laboratory developed test through Verici's CLIA-certified, CAP-accredited laboratory.

The company describes it as the only multi-gene panel developed specifically for transplant recipients, built on AI-enabled gene selection backed by peer-reviewed research.

Verici said the test can detect clinically relevant genetic splice variants that cell-free DNA technologies cannot pick up, drawing on its existing RNA diagnostics expertise.

The launch draws on Verici's repository of clinical data and biological samples, which the company says allows it to run retrospective analyses and bring new diagnostic products to market quickly.

"This launch translates our robust data repository into a tangible, multi-gene asset that will push the boundaries of precision medicine," said Sara Barrington, chief executive of Verici Dx.

TranscripTx follows Tutivia, Verici's lead product, a post-kidney transplant test aimed at early detection of acute rejection.

News Intelligence what this means for the company

Verici Dx announced a Q4 2026 launch for TranscripTx, a multi-gene genetic test designed to identify variants influencing transplant response and graft failure risk in kidney recipients. The test leverages the company's RNA diagnostics expertise and clinical data repository to detect splice variants that competing cell-free DNA technologies cannot, positioning it as a complement to its lead product Tutivia. The launch timeline is forward-looking with no immediate revenue impact, and success depends on securing payer coverage and clinical adoption in a nascent precision transplant diagnostics market.

Investment case

TranscripTx expands Verici's addressable market within transplant care and diversifies its product pipeline beyond Tutivia, which generated $2.9m in revenue in 2025. However, the test remains 18 months from launch and faces the standard hurdles of LDT reimbursement and adoption; the announcement does not materially alter near-term revenue visibility or the company's path to profitability.
