Experian (LSE:EXPN) has appointed Adam Crozier as an independent Non‑Executive Director and Chair Designate from 12 May, to succeed Mike Rogers as Chair following the conclusion of the Annual General Meeting on 22 July; Rogers will retire after nine years on the board, including seven as Chair.
Crozier joins from his current roles as Chair of BT Group — where he chairs the Nomination Committee and has responsibility for security oversight — and Chair of Kantar Group. His career includes chairing Whitbread and ASOS and a past Non‑Executive Directorship at Sony Group Corporation. He will sit on the Remuneration and Nomination & Corporate Governance Committees and will chair the Nomination & Corporate Governance Committee after the AGM.
"Following a comprehensive and rigorous search process, the Board is delighted to appoint Adam as Chair," Alison Brittain, Senior Independent Director, said.
Chief Executive Brian Cassin thanked Mike Rogers "for his significant contribution over many years" and welcomed Crozier's "extensive leadership and Board experience across large, international businesses," Crozier added that he is "delighted to be joining Experian (LSE:EXPN) at an important stage in its development."
