Fulcrum Metals (AIM:FMET), a company that recovers precious and critical metals from mine waste using cyanide-free technology, has flagged encouraging preliminary results from an airborne geophysical survey at the Charlot-Neely Lake uranium project in northern Saskatchewan.
The project sits within Fulcrum's roughly 594 square kilometre Saskatchewan uranium portfolio, currently under option to Terra North Resources, a spin-out of Terra Balcanica Resources, which commissioned the survey.
Seven uranium-related radiometric anomalies have emerged from the work, including one of the strongest responses located north of Neely Lake, an area where historical exploration recorded uranium mineralisation grading up to 0.8% U₃O₈.

Preliminary magnetic data has also mapped two major domains separated by the roughly 20-kilometre Black Bay Fault, adding structural context to historical readings that include rock-chip values exceeding 6% U₃O₈.
Terra North is fully funding the survey, with spending counting toward its minimum C$3.25 million exploration commitment under its option agreement with Fulcrum, which retains a 1.0% net smelter return royalty upon exercise.
Fulcrum also holds 5.8 million shares in Terra and 5.6 million shares in Terra North, the latter stake valued at C$560,000 on issue.
"The identification of seven strong radiometric anomalies, including one exceptionally strong response, is an encouraging start to Terra North's exploration programme at Charlot-Neely," said Ryan Mee, Fulcrum's chief executive.
The full 75-metre-spaced survey dataset is still to come, which Mee said should sharpen the picture of the anomalies and the wider project area.
