Oxford BioDynamics (AIM:OBD) has signed a partnership agreement with The Dubai London Clinics & Hospitals Group (DLCH), one of Dubai's longest-established private healthcare providers.
The AIM-listed biotechnology company develops precision diagnostic tests and runs EpiSwitch Orion, a cloud-based 3D genomics platform used by pharma and biotech partners.
The deal makes OBD's EpiSwitch PSE prostate cancer test available across DLCH's network of five facilities in the United Arab Emirates, including the ACHS-accredited Dubai London Hospital in Jumeirah.
Patient blood samples will be collected at DLCH sites and processed at OBD's UK laboratory, with the end-to-end workflow already validated between the two organisations.
The companies plan to work jointly on adoption across DLCH's clinician network, including local market development and engagement with regional payers, with test volumes expected to build as that activity begins.
It marks OBD's first commercial partnership for EpiSwitch PSE in the Gulf region.
"This is our first commercial partnership for the test in the Gulf region and an important milestone as we continue to expand internationally," said Richard Compton, chief executive of Oxford Biodynamics.
Further details on the partnership will be announced jointly by OBD and DLCH in due course.
News Intelligence what this means for the company
Oxford BioDynamics has secured its first commercial partnership for EpiSwitch PSE in the Gulf region, making the prostate cancer test available across Dubai London Clinics & Hospitals' five UAE facilities. The deal validates international demand for the test outside the US market and establishes operational infrastructure (sample collection at DLCH sites, processing at OBD's UK lab) to support volume growth as the companies jointly drive adoption among clinicians and regional payers.
This expands OBD's geographic footprint for EpiSwitch PSE beyond the US, where the company has a contract sales partnership to accelerate prostate cancer test uptake. The deal is early-stage—test volumes are expected to build as adoption activity begins—but it demonstrates the test's commercial viability in a new region and reduces concentration risk on a single market.
