Capricorn Energy confirms talks over possible Deltic Energy bid

Capricorn Energy (LSE:CNE) confirmed it has been in discussions regarding a possible offer for Deltic Energy and that there can be no certainty that a firm offer will be made or as to its terms.

The company disclosed it currently holds 1m shares of Deltic Energy, representing approximately 1.1% of Deltic Energy's issued ordinary share capital.

Capricorn noted that, pursuant to the Takeover Code, any offer it were to make would be required to have a value of not less than 3.00p per Deltic Energy share.
