Pets at Home Group (LSE:PETS) is showing confidence in its recovery, according to analysts at Deutsche Bank, who repeat a 'Buy' rating after the retail and veterinary firm's FY26 results.

The German bank has a 230p price target, compared to a current market price of around 191.85p.

DB analyst Adam Cochrane says FY26 underlying PBT of £92.8m was broadly in line with guidance, and that a retail recovery (Q4 consumer revenue +2.2%) alongside continued Vet momentum underpins management’s comfort with consensus FY27 underlying PBT of £98m for the UK pet‑care retailer and veterinary network.

Cochrane highlighted Retail underlying PBT £30.8m, Vet underlying PBT £83.8m, central costs £16.6m, insurance start‑up costs £5.2m, and year‑end net debt £19.4m as the key numbers framing its view.

DB's own FY27 profit estimate is also pitched at £98m.
