Oxford BioDynamics, the AIM-listed biotechnology company focused on precision clinical diagnostics, has entered a commercial services agreement with MK Commercial Group to extend the US sales reach of its EpiSwitch PSE prostate cancer triage test.

MKCG, a specialist life sciences contract commercialisation organisation, will initially deploy seven experienced field consultants across US territories that have had no dedicated coverage, including New Jersey, Washington DC, Virginia, Georgia, and the Chicago metropolitan area, with contractual flexibility to scale to 35 representatives as demand grows.

EpiSwitch PSE sits between an elevated PSA result and biopsy, offering a positive predictive value of 93% and specificity of 97%, and is designed to reduce the number of men proceeding to invasive biopsy unnecessarily.

MKCG's prior work includes scaling Berkeley HeartLab and Veracyte from early-stage companies to publicly traded entities, a track record Chairman Iain Ross cited in framing the partnership as a "significant step-change" in OBD's strategy of deploying independent field specialists in targeted US markets.

The deployed consultants will target urologists, primary care physicians, and internal medicine practitioners, working under OBD's commercial direction alongside its existing Sales Operations function in Frederick, Maryland.

OBD said it would provide updates on commercial progress through its scheduled financial reporting.
