The AIM-listed infrastructure developer is aggregating megawatt capacity toward a 60 MW UAE opportunity and early talks on requirements of up to 100 MW, as Bitdeer pushes for larger deployments.

The UAE digital infrastructure site generated its first quarterly revenue since acquisition, with the board evaluating low-capital upgrades to boost power capacity.

The company has set out the reasoning behind its United Arab Emirates expansion, tying power-backed digital infrastructure to the region's water and energy security priorities.

The newly acquired Ghummud site in Abu Dhabi generated AED 404,000 (c. US$110,000) in its first full month of operations, with average uptime of about 97%.

It has redeployed digital infrastructure from its 8 MVA UAE development to its Ghummud site and says Ghummud will generate annualised hosting revenue of $400,000 per MVA once at maximum capacity, which it expects to reach within six weeks.

Active Energy Group has signed a non-binding letter of intent with Bitdeer Middle East Technology to form a profit-sharing joint mining partnership aimed at scaling a 100MW digital infrastructure platform.

Active Energy will pay £1.25m, split equally between new shares and deferred cash, for a 2.5 MVA UAE grid connection that lifts its secured and proposed UAE capacity to 15.5 MVA.
