Nordex has won three new orders in the United States totalling 484 megawatts (MW), the Hamburg-based wind turbine manufacturer announced on 22 June.

The orders comprise 32 N133/4.8 turbines representing approximately 154 MW, and 56 N163/5.X turbines covering approximately 350 MW across two further projects.

The names of all three customers and their projects have not been disclosed.

"These projects clearly demonstrate the trust our customers place in Nordex technology and execution capabilities," said Manav Sharma, CEO of Nordex North America, adding that the company's local supply chain keeps it well positioned for large-scale wind development across the continent.
