Empresaria Group plc (AIM:EMR) has confirmed Spencer Wreford will officially commence his role as Group Chief Financial Officer on 1 May. The appointment follows the company’s announcement on 2 March.
The group had expected to publish results for the year ended 31 December 2025 on 24 April but said it has made substantial progress and is nearing completion of the audit. Empresaria (AIM:EMR)’s recently appointed UK auditor (appointed 14 November 2025) has told the company it requires additional time to complete audit procedures, citing the flow of information between the UK auditor and overseas auditors as the primary cause of the delay. Consequently the Group now expects to publish its FY 2025 results on 18 May.
The board emphasised the delay does not change the substance of its prior trading guidance. "the trading update issued by the Group on 29 January 2026 remains correct in all respects." the Group added.
