Seeing Machines (AIM:SEE), the advanced computer vision company focused on transport safety, has secured a US$31 million expansion to an existing automotive production programme with a major European original equipment manufacturer.

The expansion broadens the deployment of Seeing Machines' Driver and Occupant Monitoring System technology across additional vehicle platforms, with production expected to commence in the second half of 2026.

Working through a Tier 1 customer, the programme covers vehicle platforms across China, the United States and Europe, representing a further phase of adoption by the same OEM rather than a new customer relationship.

"This expansion is a significant milestone for Seeing Machines and reflects both the strength of our technology and the depth of our existing OEM and Tier 1 relationships," said CEO Paul McGlone, adding that the addition of further vehicle platforms demonstrates the opportunity to grow programme value as customers broaden deployment across their model portfolios.

The deal arrives as evolving safety regulations and consumer demand push automotive manufacturers to extend in-cabin monitoring across wider vehicle ranges, a trend Seeing Machines says is increasing the commercial value of production-proven integration experience.

Production is scheduled to begin in the second half of 2026.
