Touchstone Exploration (TSX, LSE:TXP) reported that it brought the FR-1835 and FR-1836 development wells on the WD-8 block online in mid‑May, producing a combined field‑estimated average of approximately 175 barrels per day of medium‑gravity crude oil.

The turnkey drilling costs for both wells were funded by the drilling operator under the strategic asset exchange executed in 2025, and the company says the wells are performing in line with internal expectations as field teams optimise flow rates.

"Operationally, our focus remains on efficiently converting reserves into near‑term cash flow," Paul Baay, President and Chief Executive Officer, said.

Atlantic LNG Train 4 is under a scheduled 54‑day maintenance shutdown from May 26 to July 19, with the main transportation pipeline offline for planned work between June 15 and June 29, and Touchstone expects Central block gas volumes to be redirected to Train 2/3 and the domestic market, which should enhance realised gas pricing.

Mechanical and electrical installation of the Cascadura booster compressor on the Ortoire block is progressing on schedule with commissioning expected to commence in June, and the unit is designed to lower wellhead backpressure and improve facility reliability.

The CR‑3 well has flowed approximately 2.2 million cubic feet of gas per day and 14 barrels of condensate per day but shows a localized inflow restriction that Touchstone plans to address with a targeted coiled tubing cleanout and acid stimulation, subject to availability of the sole local coiled tubing unit.

Given the favourable pricing while Train 4 is offline, Touchstone is assessing whether to defer the CR‑3 intervention until after the maintenance window ends on July 19.
