EnergyPathways (AIM:EPP) has appointed Alison Louise Flower as an Independent Non-Executive Director, the company announced on 28 May.
Flower is a geostrategic energy specialist who served as Senior Energy Advisor at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office from 2019 to 2025, previously held leadership positions at BG Group, is a Fellow of the UK Energy Institute and an Ambassador for POWERful Women, and will provide commercial and policy insight as EnergyPathways, the energy transition company, progresses its MESH energy storage project.
The MESH project, designated a project of "national significance" by the UK Government, is designed to be Britain’s largest integrated energy storage development, combining compressed air energy storage with natural gas and hydrogen storage off the coast of Barrow‑in‑Furness, with licence potential for up to 60 sub‑surface salt caverns and a target entry into operation in 2031 subject to approvals and financing.
