Cake Box Holdings (LSE:CBOX), the UK's largest retailer of fresh cream celebration cakes, expects Group revenue for the 52 weeks ended 29 March to be approximately £61.2m, up 43% year‑on‑year, with profit in line with market expectations.

The improvement reflects higher‑than‑expected new store openings, positive like‑for‑like sales, growing omni‑channel sales including third‑party delivery and the maiden full‑year contribution from Ambala following its March 2025 acquisition.

Excluding Ambala contributions, Cake Box revenues are expected to be approximately £46.7m versus £41.9m in FY25, around a 12% increase.

"We delivered a strong second‑half performance, with full‑year growth driven by new store openings, positive like‑for‑like sales, growing sales via third‑party platforms and the maiden full‑year contribution from Ambala," Sukh Chamdal, Co‑Founder and Chief Executive Officer, said.

The group opened 37 new stores in FY26-25 Cake Box and 12 Ambala-taking the estate to 310 stores and exceeding its target of 10 new Ambala franchise openings. It said it is monitoring geopolitical and consumer risks, managing these through operational efficiencies, disciplined cost control and hedging of utility costs, and will publish full‑year results in June 2026.
