Premier Foods (LSE:PFD), the maker of Mr Kipling, Bisto and Oxo, reported group branded revenue growth of 4% for the thirteen weeks to 27 June, with total revenue up 2.7%.

UK branded revenue rose 3.8%, led by a strong Sweet Treats performance, while new categories revenue climbed 16% on particularly strong growth from Cape Herb & Spice.

International revenue increased 6% at constant currency, with Europe growing sales at a double-digit rate following the launch of FUEL10K ranges in the Netherlands, and North America benefiting from newly secured distribution of Mr Kipling cake slices and pies in the United States.

The company's three acquired brands, The Spice Tailor, FUEL10K and Merchant Gourmet, all delivered double-digit revenue growth and remain on track to generate approximately £100m in revenue this year.

"Our acquired brands... continue the great momentum we've built since acquiring them," said chief executive Alex Whitehouse, adding the group remains on track to deliver trading profit expectations for the year.

In Australasia, The Spice Tailor sales grew over 20%, helped by a multi-channel marketing campaign, as retailer cake stock levels began to normalise.

Company-compiled analyst consensus puts FY26/27 trading profit in a range of £209.4m to £213.7m, averaging £211.4m.
