DP Poland (AIM:DPP), the operator of Domino's Pizza stores across Poland and Croatia, said trading for the third quarter and nine months to 30 September was in line with market expectations.
Poland total system sales rose 10.4% in the third quarter and 14.4% year-to-date, with like-for-like system sales up 0.6% in the quarter and 4.3% year-to-date, driven mainly by a higher average ticket value. Like-for-like sales in Poland swung back to growth in September after a softer July and August, partly offsetting the summer shortfall.
Total system orders in Poland grew 1.3% in the quarter and 7.5% year-to-date, but like-for-like orders fell 7.2% in the quarter and 2.0% year-to-date, a gap management attributed to weakness in the carry-out channel.
Croatia delivered total system sales growth of 35.3% in the quarter and 34.7% year-to-date, supported by network expansion, though like-for-like system sales slipped 1.7% in the quarter while still rising 4.8% year-to-date.
The group continued its shift toward a franchised model, converting four additional corporate stores and opening one new franchised store in the quarter, taking the franchised total to 58 stores, or 42% of the network.
Management is targeting more than 50% of the Domino's estate under franchise partners by the end of the year.
"We continued the shift to a more franchise-oriented business... We also refined the Pizzeria 105 conversion approach and developed the operating platform needed for scalable growth," chief executive Łukasz Ostrowski said.
DP Poland acquired Pizzeria 105 in March 2025 and has been progressively converting the chain's stores to the Domino's brand since; the franchised share of the Domino's network has climbed from 15% a year earlier to 42% at the end of the third quarter.
Ostrowski, who succeeded Nils Gornall as chief executive in August, said lessons from completed conversions are being used to simplify the process and make it more attractive to franchise partners.
A new customer app is expected to launch in the fourth quarter, aimed at simplifying ordering and supporting order growth, alongside continued work on warehouse automation and back-end infrastructure.
The company said cash resources were stable through the quarter, supported by expenditure and working capital controls and continued proceeds from corporate-store disposals to franchisees.
DP Poland expects to publish its first sustainability report, prepared with reference to the European Sustainability Reporting Standards, in the coming days.
