Reveille Resources (AQSE:REV) told investors it has appointed Sofia Bianchi as a strategic advisor to support the AQSE-listed uranium explorer's growth strategy and business development efforts.
The company is developing exploration licence applications over the Novazza and Val Vedello projects in Lombardy, northern Italy, sites it describes as the country's largest known uranium deposits, and is working to progress them through Italy's environmental impact assessment process ahead of future drilling.
Bianchi's remit covers maximising the value of Reveille's Italian uranium interests, identifying acquisition and business development opportunities in the Western-aligned world, introducing technical expertise, and supporting future offtake and financing arrangements, the company said; the role sits outside the board.
"Italy's renewed nuclear ambitions give the Company's Lombardy projects particular strategic relevance," Bianchi said, adding that she looks forward to helping Reveille grow "from its current junior-company stage into a business of significantly greater scale."
Executive director Ippolito Ingo Cattaneo said the fundamental shift in sentiment towards nuclear energy in Italy, combined with rising fuel prices and growing emphasis on energy security, underscores the strategic value of domestic uranium resources.
Reveille proposes to grant Bianchi 2.5m options over shares at an exercise price of 15.75p, the closing mid-market price on the Aquis Growth Market on 23 October, with a five-year life from grant.

The options will vest in equal monthly instalments over the first 12 months of the consultancy, subject to execution of the option agreement and corporate approvals.
The appointment follows the company's engagement of Dr Camillo Mario Pessina as a strategic consultant in October, who previously served as lead geologist for Val Vedello at AGIP Nucleare and is helping refine the company's understanding of the site's geology within the wider Orobic uranium district.
