Thalia Therapeutics (LSE:THAT), the AIM-listed biotechnology company developing RNA-based therapeutics and delivery technologies in oncology and cardiovascular disease, alongside today's AGM, told shareholders that funding is in place for planned work across the portfolio, including completion of the Phase 1 clinical trial for miRisten.

Patient enrolment in that trial is temporarily paused while the current cohort progresses, Thalia added, with topline data expected in the first half of 2027 ahead of Phase 2 preparation.

Thalia's immediate priorities also include integrating Sanmirna following completion of its acquisition, advancing the cardiovascular programme towards IND-enabling studies, and developing its Nuvec RNA delivery platform.

"The Board believes Thalia is well positioned to deliver the next phase of its development and a number of important value-creating milestones," Solomon said.

The company expects topline Phase 1 miRisten data in the first half of 2027.
