Genedrive (AIM:GDR) said it expects total income of approximately £1.4 million for the financial year ended 30 June, up from around £1.0 million in FY25, in line with Board expectations.

The AIM-listed point-of-care pharmacogenetic testing company said international sales will contribute around a quarter of total income, with the rest generated domestically, and the product mix split around two-thirds MT-RNR1 and one-third CYP2C19.

"The last year has seen significant commercial and operational progress for genedrive", said chief executive Dr Gino Miele, pointing to expanding NHS adoption of both tests and strengthened activity across Europe and the Middle East.

The Company disclosed that its previously communicated timeframe for submitting its CYP2C19 test to the US Food and Drug Administration under the 510(k) pathway, originally expected around June 2026, has been pushed back, with externally conducted validation studies still dependent on third-party contracting and scheduling.

Genedrive raised net proceeds of around £4.9 million through an equity placing in March 2026, leaving it with an unaudited cash position of approximately £3.0 million as of 30 June, which includes an R&D tax credit refund of approximately £0.8 million, against a monthly cost base of around £0.5 million.

More than 13,000 neonates have now been tested using the Genedrive MT-RNR1 ID Kit, which the Company said has protected over 40 from irreversible hearing loss.

The recruitment of a new independent non-executive chairman and two further non-executive directors is progressing, with further announcements expected in due course.
