Rockfire Resources (AIM:ROCK) reported assay results from drill hole HMO-015 at its 100%‑owned Molaoi zinc deposit in Greece.

Molaoi is a high‑grade zinc/lead/silver/germanium deposit with a JORC Inferred Mineral Resource of 15.0 million tonnes at 7.26% Zn, 1.75% Pb and 39.50g/t, the company said.

"The critical characteristic of Molaoi to remember is that every hole in the main lode has intersected zinc, silver, germanium and lead," said David Price, Chief Executive Officer.

HMO-015 assays include 0.82 million at 8.7% Zn, 28.5g/t and 27.4g/t Ge from 350 million; 11.9 million at 8.8% Zn, 49.0g/t and 25.2g/t Ge from 354.90 million; and 3.02 million at 7.5% Zn, 40.9g/t, 19.0g/t Ge and 1.3% Pb from 386.28 million.

Portable XRF readings from hole HMO-017 are described as encouraging, with spot values up to 51% Zn, 72g/t, 0.38% Cu and 5.1% Pb over narrow intervals at about 288 million, and Rockfire notes the pXRF does not measure germanium.

Diamond drilling to convert Inferred resources to Indicated continues, with HMO-017 currently in progress.

Results from core samples from hole HMO-016 are awaited from the laboratory.
