Defence Holdings has agreed a strategic partnership, revenue participation and an equity-linked position with OM Defence Systems.
The company, the UK’s software-led defence technology group, says the arrangement is the first strategic partnership to be implemented under the new operating model, and will be used to support capital strategy, operational scaling and Defence market access.
"We believe the structure creates multiple aligned routes to value creation through strategic participation, operational support and exposure to emerging sovereign capability aligned to evolving Defence requirements," said Andrew Roughan, Chief Executive Officer.
The operating model, which formalises Defence Holdings’ framework for positioning across customer requirements, emerging technology capability and private capital, is being published today as well.
Defence Holdings will receive long-term participation in revenues from customer contracts introduced to OM Defence Systems, an emerging autonomous defence systems manufacturer, through the London-listed firm's ecosystem.
