Amaroq (AIM:AMRQ) has finished construction and commissioning of the flotation circuit at the Nalunaq processing unit, which the company says brings the plant to design specification.

The flotation addition is expected to raise overall gold recovery from a gravity-only range of 50-70% to approximately 90-95%, with gravity and flotation circuits now operating together.

"This significant milestone enables us to increase expected gold recoveries from about 61% to roughly 90-95% for the remainder of the year," said Eldur Olafsson, CEO.

First gold concentrate has been produced and bagged alongside continued Doré pours, and gold-bearing tailings at roughly 6 g/t-previously returned to the mine-will be gradually reprocessed to recover additional contained gold.

The company reiterated FY2026 production guidance of 25-35 koz and confirmed H1 2026 production of between 7,000 and 10,000 oz.
