Alien Metals (AIM:UFO), the AIM-listed minerals exploration company, has launched an induced polarisation (IP) and controlled-source audio-frequency magneto-tellurics (CSAMT) geophysical survey at the Elizabeth Hill Silver Project in Western Australia's Pilbara region.
The programme, announced by joint venture partner West Coast Silver (ASX: WCE), covers approximately 4 km of strike along the Munni Munni Fault Zone, testing for structural repeats of the high-grade silver system that historically produced 1.2 million ounces of silver at a head grade of 2,194 g/t.
West Coast Silver has secured a A$114,312 grant from the Western Australian Exploration Incentive Scheme, covering half the cost of the ground programme.
The work builds on an earlier IP trial at the Elizabeth Hill Mine, where the technique successfully identified a chargeability response matching the known mineralised envelope, validating it as a targeting tool for silver and base metals in this setting.
Contracts have been signed with Southern Geoscience Consultants and Zonge Engineering and Research Organisation, with fieldwork to begin once crews are available.
Any anomalies generated from the third-quarter surveys could be prioritised for follow-up drilling in late in the third quarter and the fourth quarter, as West Coast Silver pursues what it calls additional stand-alone silver "pearls" along the fault zone.
Diamond drilling to extend and infill the April 2026 Elizabeth Hill mineral resource estimate continues in parallel, with economic studies of near-surface mineralisation advancing toward a Scoping Study.
