Christie Group's (AIM:CTG) has highlighted that its agency and advisory arm worked with Austrian property developer JP Immobilien on the sale of the Bikini Island & Mountain Port de Sóller Hotel, in Mallorca.

The four-star 114-room resort was acquired by major European institutional asset manager, Amundi Real Estate, and, it followed a targeted marketing process that drew interest from a select group of international investors.

"The growing institutional interest in premium leisure destinations presents attractive opportunities for our business, and this transaction further reinforces the strength of our international network and the specialist expertise we provide to clients," said Dan Prickett, chief executive of Christie Group.

Christie Group said the transaction underlines growing institutional appetite for premium resort destinations with strong tourism fundamentals.

The deal comes months after Christie Group told investors in September that its agency pipelines were running ahead year-on-year, with the board still targeting the sale of more than 1,000 businesses in 2026.

The London-listed business services group runs Christie & Co as its brokerage and advisory division for the hospitality, leisure and retail sectors, alongside finance and insurance brokerage arms that featured in its half-year results reported in June.
