IXICO (AIM:IXI) added Professors Jeffrey Cummings, Charles DeCarli and Stéphane Lehéricy to its Scientific Advisory Board and announced a research collaboration and advisory engagement to deepen its work in Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease.

The company is a global leader in neuroscience imaging and biomarker analytics, using an AI-driven platform to support drug development in neurological disorders.

The new appointees are Professor Jeffrey Cummings of the University of Nevada Las Vegas, Professor Charles DeCarli of the University of California Davis, both AD experts, and Professor Stéphane Lehéricy of the Paris Brain Institute, a PD neuroradiology authority.

IXICO has entered a prospective study with the Paris Brain Institute to evaluate neuromelanin-sensitive MRI approaches, optimising acquisition protocols and applying AI-driven analysis to improve robustness and reproducibility as a quantitative PD clinical-trial biomarker.

Robin Wolz, IXICO's Chief Scientific and Medical Officer, and Kirsi Kinnunen, Principal Biomarker Scientist, have been invited to participate in The Michael J. Fox Foundation's MRI Advisory Committee to work on protocol standardisation, data sharing and biomarker validation.

"Working with the world's leading KOLs ensures the validation and clinical relevance of the services and technology we provide to the biopharma industry and deepens our presence in the CNS space," Robin Wolz said.
