Ocado CEO Tim Steiner to stay in post until start of 2028

Ocado Group has confirmed Tim Steiner will remain Chief Executive Officer through the start of the 2028 financial year, with an ongoing advisory presence extending to 2029.

Ocado Group (LSE:OCDO) has provided further detail on its leadership transition, confirming that founder Tim Steiner will continue as Chief Executive Officer through the start of the 2028 financial year.

The online grocery technology company said Steiner will remain actively involved with the business through 2029, transitioning into a newly created Founder role once a successor is appointed.

In that role, Steiner will provide strategic guidance and market expertise to the board, management team and customers, with a focus on supporting the company's long-term ambitions and industry relationships.

The board said it was grateful for Steiner's continued leadership through the transition period.
