Kendrick Resources plc (KEN) said drill hole TWDD001 returned 8.14 wt% TREO over 21.16m and averaged 4.18 wt% TREO across 48.66m, signalling high-grade continuity at Teufelskuppe.

The company reported 48.66m of mineralisation within the 80.66m hole, giving an average TREO of 4.18 wt% and LREO of 4.10 wt% for all mineralised intervals in TWDD001. Kendrick said the average combined Nd2O3 and Pr6O11 — the key magnets metals — is approximately 1% combined, placing Teufelskuppe among the higher-grade Nd/Pr occurrences cited in the filing.

Assays "have significantly exceeded expectations", the company said, and average thorium and uranium grades of 0.019% and 0.000196% respectively indicate low radioactivity levels. Kendrick also said the drill results compare favourably with historic surface channel sampling (4.0–7.0 wt% TREO) and provide proof of sub-surface continuity.

Chairman Colin Bird said the outcomes were "The results are extremely impressive". He added the team is on site to expand drilling, plans to deploy a second rig for reconnaissance at Teufelskuppe and neighbouring Keishohe, and will assess drilling data to fast-track towards a Preliminary Economic Assessment, the filing said.

The recap

• TWDD001: 8.14 wt% TREO over 21.16m, hole ends at 6.09 wt% TREO at 80.66m • Average TREO 4.18 wt% and LREO 4.10 wt% across 48.66m of mineralisation • Low Th/U (0.019% / 0.000196%) and plans for further drilling, second rig and a Preliminary Economic Assessment, the company said
