Coppa Collective confirmed it has finalised the purchase of four sites from Grosvenor Pubs and Inns, completing the transaction first announced on 6 March.
The four acquired sites, which form The Linwood Collection and will continue to trade under their existing names and identities, are Wild Thyme & Honey (Cotswolds), The Hare & Hounds (Berkshire), The Stag on the River (Surrey) and The Wellington Arms (Hampshire), the company said.
Completion of the Wellington Arms followed receipt of landlord consent in connection with the lease assignment process, a condition that had delayed full transfer of that site.
Coppa has also agreed terms to potentially acquire The Queen’s Head (Surrey), but that site remains subject to an asset of community value process and “cannot exchange until the relevant statutory notification and moratorium period has expired,” the company said.
