Physiomics builds hantavirus translational modelling framework

It has developed a hantavirus translational modelling workflow that links in vitro antiviral screening to human PK/PD and virtual population simulations to assess whether lab activity could translate into clinical viral suppression.

Physiomics (AIM:PYC), the mathematical modelling, data science and biostatistics company, has created a hantavirus translational modelling framework demonstrating its quantitative pharmacology and mechanistic modelling capabilities in infectious disease applications.

The framework integrates multiple evidence layers, in vitro phenotypic antiviral screening, concentration-response potency modelling, human pharmacokinetic exposure translation, mechanistic PK/PD viral dynamics and virtual population simulations, into a single translational workflow.

Physiomics says the workflow is designed to assess whether antiviral activity observed in laboratory systems could plausibly translate into meaningful viral suppression under simulated human exposure conditions.

Illustrative components include simulated 384‑well antiviral screens, EC50/Emax concentration-response fitting, human PK exposure simulations against potency-linked targets, mechanistic viral-load dynamics across modalities and time‑to‑clearance virtual population runs.
