It now has three rigs active across its Anzá project in Colombia after starting maiden drilling at the El Cedro gold-copper porphyry prospect and expanding the licence area to roughly 530 square kilometres.

The AIM and TSXV-listed miner confirmed no injuries or major damage at its Anza project, located roughly 200 kilometres from the quake's epicentre.

"The grade is there which in the end is all that matters", said chief executive Brad George

"As with the previous hole, MAP107 is showing APTA to be more extensive than was previously thought," chief executive Brad George said, adding that the company is "fully funded" to continue the work.

A surface sample returning 79.6 grams per tonne gold has prompted Orosur Mining to begin drilling directly beneath the find, potentially extending the Pepas West strike to close to 200 metres.

"APTA was always tantalising but misunderstood as previous drilling was never pulled together into a coherent picture," said Brad George, CEO.

Multiple thick, shallow gold intersections were returned at Pepas West, and could indicate an extension to the project.
