Trustpilot Group (LSE:TRST) shares were up 8.4% on Monday, changing hands at 259.2p, after the digital platform for consumers was named a key product partner for reviews within Shopify.

The enhanced Trustpilot app on the Shopify App Store allows merchants to connect their stores directly with the Trustpilot platform, with improved data synchronisation and automated tools designed to simplify how reviews are collected, managed and displayed.

The partnership is framed around the growing importance of independent reputation signals as AI reshapes how consumers discover and evaluate brands, with AI-powered search and shopping assistants increasingly drawing on third-party trust data to surface and rank merchants.

"This partnership brings Trustpilot closer to where purchase decisions are being made every day," said CEO Adrian Blair, "making it easier for merchants to build credibility through open customer feedback."

The enhanced app went live today, with general availability now in effect.
