Union Jack Oil (AIM:UJO), the AIM-listed onshore hydrocarbon company with operations in the UK and USA, has declared its Crossroads well in Garvin County, Oklahoma non-commercial following completion of testing.

The well, in which Union Jack holds a 43% working interest, encountered hydrocarbon shows across multiple intervals between the Hoxbar and Basal McLish formations, and four intervals with production potential were perforated and tested.

None delivered commercially viable flow rates, and the well will be plugged and abandoned.

The update follows an earlier announcement on 15 May regarding progress at the Crossroads well.
