Concurrent Technologies (LSE:CNC), a designer and manufacturer of computer products, systems and mission-critical solutions, has won a four-year order worth £17 million from a major European defence equipment prime contractor supplying Ground Based Air Defence systems.
The contract covers three variants of an established VME-based computer board, totals more than 3,400 units plus accessories, and includes an upfront milestone payment to fund procurement of the programme's components, enhancing multi-year revenue visibility for the group.
The award is Concurrent's largest single contract to date-substantially larger than the previous largest order of $6.2 million in 2025-and reflects the customer's decision to aggregate four years of anticipated demand into one procurement following Intel's announced last time buy for a processor used in Concurrent's product family.
Concurrent said its long-standing relationship and programme knowledge position it to support future platform developments, and management noted the win arrives as the group was already on track for record first-half order intake with Systems order intake having already exceeded 2025 levels.
"This order represents our largest ever contract win and demonstrates the longevity of our product set and the strength of our long-standing customer relationships," said Miles Adcock, CEO.
