Galileo Resources clears way for $3m Kalahari copper sale

It has satisfied all conditions on its sale of two Kalahari Copper Belt licences to a Sandfire Resources subsidiary, with completion expected by 30 September.

Galileo Resources (AIM:GLR) said all conditions precedent have been met under its conditional share purchase agreement covering two Kalahari Copper Belt licences.

The buyer is Metal Capital Exploration, a wholly owned subsidiary of ASX-listed Sandfire Resources, with Sandfire acting as guarantor for the $3 million deal.

Galileo, an AIM-listed exploration and development company, entered the agreement on 15 June.

Completion is now anticipated on or around 30 September.
