Panther Metals registers for US critical minerals procurement

Panther Metals (LSE:PALM) has completed registration with the US Federal System for Award Management and received a Unique Entity Identifier, alongside a NATO Commercial and Government Entity code issued through the UK Ministry of Defence.

The London-listed mineral exploration company said the registrations give it the identifiers needed to engage directly in relevant US government procurement and funding opportunities.

Panther is advancing engagement around its Ontario project portfolio, where it believes one opportunity carries scale potentially significant to long-term North American critical mineral supply.

"Panther is now formally within the system through which we can pursue relevant U.S. Government related opportunities," said chief executive Darren Hazelwood, adding the company has "been encouraged to accelerate this dialogue over recent weeks".

The Obonga Project in Ontario, held since July 2021, spans more than 90% of the Obonga Greenstone Belt and hosts targets including Wishbone and Awkward, where a funded around 2,000-metre diamond drilling programme is under way.

Drilling at Wishbone has already returned pXRF results of 8.34% copper, the highest grade reported to date at Obonga, with laboratory assays from the summer campaign still pending.

Panther is separately advancing the Winston Tailings Project toward a Mineral Resource Estimate, having completed a 109-collar Vibracore sampling programme to support a Recovery of Minerals Permit application lodged in September 2025.
