Forgent reveals bonanza copper and gold assays at Green Rocks

Maiden surface sampling at the Green Rocks project returned assays up to 29.4% copper and 4.8g/t gold, validating historic data and flagging multiple undrilled high‑grade targets.

Forgent (AIM:FORG) reported maiden surface sampling at its Green Rocks Copper‑Gold project in the Ashburton Basin, Western Australia, returned assays as high as 29.4% copper and 4.80 g/t gold.

The company said 110 samples were analysed, 22 returned >5% Cu and 25 returned >0.3 g/t Au, and that the results validate historic sampling while extending known outcropping mineralisation; Forgent is a technology‑led energy transition company.

The sampling identified widespread high‑grade copper proximal to interpreted faults, dyke margins and structural intersections, with extensive malachite development noted at surface.

Notable assays included 29.4% Cu (GR0084), 27.2% Cu (GR0085), 26.8% Cu (GR0079), 23.8% Cu (GR0080) and 4.80 g/t Au (GR0023).

The company said multiple undrilled, high‑grade prospects have been prioritised and the new data will be combined with historic results to update the geological model ahead of drilling.

Forgent will design a maiden drilling programme and submit a Program of Work to the Department of Mines, Petroleum and Exploration while progressing heritage approvals, with further technical updates after approvals are received.

"We are delighted with the results; the maiden programme has confirmed exceptional copper and gold grades, validated historic data and identified multiple undrilled targets," said James Parsons, CEO.

The Green Rocks project sits in northwest Western Australia, about 35 km southwest of the Paulsens Gold Mine, with access via the North Western Coastal Highway and established station tracks.
